Winona Erma (Richardson) Pospisil Obituary

TECUMSEH - Winona E. Pospisil, age 83, died Jan. 27, 2006,
at Adrian Health Care Center. She was born Oct. 1, 1922, in
Clinton, the daughter of Leon and Elva (Walters) Richardson.
On Dec. 8, 1956, she married Joseph Pospisil in Tecumseh.
He preceded her on April 20, 1989. 

She was a member of Disabled American Veterans, Adrian. She
enjoyed working the lunch hour at Patterson Elementary School,
Tecumseh, for many years. She was part of the Lenawee County
Department on Aging program which provided assistance for
elderly people in their homes. She was retired from D.S.T.
Industries, Clinton. 

She is survived by three daughters, Linda Hammang of Tecumseh,
Deborah O'Brien and her husband Murray of Deerfield, and Roberta
Giacobozzi and her husband Greg of Macomb; one son, John
(Ronica) Otto of Grandville; one stepdaughter, Sharon Pospisil
of Brooklyn; two stepsons, Robert Pospisil and Michael Pospisil
both of Florida; one sister, Luana Raymond of Tipton; four
brothers, Ronald Richardson of Adrian, Richard Richardson of
Pittsburgh, Pa., Robert Richardson of Florida, and Walter
Richardson of Adrian; and six grandchildren, Carl (Connie) Otto
of Florida, Tobias (Tiffany) Hammang of Tecumseh, Tara Hammang
of Ann Arbor, Elton (Regina) O'Brien of Houston, Texas, Amanda
Hadden of Whitmore Lake, and Marisa Giacobozzi of Macomb; two
great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Juanita
Raymond and Wilma Recker, and brothers, Lynford, Raymond,
William, Leon, Donald, Lamont, and Howard Richardson. 

Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2006, at
Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh. According to Winona's wishes, a
private funeral service will be held with the Rev. Lloyd Jewett
officiating. Burial will follow the private service at Tipton
Cemetery.
